A constant-current control circuit manages the electrical output during operation. This helps keep power delivery more consistent as the battery level changes and reduces unnecessary stress on the laser source.
Dual-Fan Cooling
Two internal fans work together with the aluminum housing to move heat away from the laser module. The fans start when the unit is powered on, supporting airflow throughout the operating cycle.
45°C Overheat Cutoff
The internal temperature is monitored continuously. In testing at an ambient temperature of about 19°C, a fully cooled unit typically operated for approximately 45–60 seconds before thermal protection activated.
Once the device reaches around 45°C, output is automatically interrupted. Operation can continue after the unit has cooled to a safe temperature.
Coaxial Red Alignment Beam
The main 915nm output is invisible to the naked eye, so the device includes a visible red reference beam positioned close to the same optical axis. This makes preliminary alignment and focus adjustment easier before operation.
Adjustable 1–15m Focus Range
The focusing lens can be rotated or extended to adapt to different working distances. With correct adjustment, the recommended range is approximately 1–15 meters.
For operation beyond about 5 meters, a tripod, gimbal, or other fixed support is recommended to reduce movement and improve alignment stability.
Simple Battery-Level Display
A rear indicator light shows the approximate charge status:
- Green: High battery level
- Yellow: Medium battery level
- Red: Charging recommended
DC Rechargeable Design
The internal battery is recharged through a standard DC charging port using the supplied charger, allowing the complete unit to be charged without removing the battery cells.

Operating Recommendations
- Keep the output window and lens clean before each use.
- Maintain a minimum working distance of approximately 10 cm to avoid heat damage from reflected energy.
- Without a focusing lens, the recommended operating distance is 1–2 meters.
- For distances greater than 1 meter, a focusing lens is recommended.
- The focus should be adjusted manually whenever the working distance changes.
- For improved stability at distances beyond 5 meters, use a tripod or other fixed mounting solution.
