Operation
At first, plug in the power cord to AC 220V, turn on the power switch(on, off), the laser tube will output red laser beam of 632.8nm. If the powervoltage is too low, it will works unproperly.
Safety Precaution
1)Because the He-Ne laser beam is of high brightness and highenergy. It is strictly forbidden to look at the light beam straightly withnaked eyes.
2)When one is changing the laser tube or maintaining the circuit ,must at first discharge the laser module power, Following the steps: turn offthe power first, remove the power cord from the power socket, and removethe front and back cover , noticing the high voltage mark, make a short between the anode and cathode of laser tube.
3)If there's any abnormal conditions during operation , such asabnormal noise, smell , temperature rising, smoke etc., cut off the powerat once, and find out the cause.

Maintenance
1)The instrument is strictly inspected when it leaves factory, one isforbidden to remove the front cover or the back cover at will , avoid
damaging the components or being electric shocked by high-voltage.
2)If the laser tube needs to be replaced, be sure pay attention to theanode and cathode of the laser tube and it 's out-light direction. Theterminal with aluminum tube is cathode, the terminal with a wolfram rodis anode, the red wire is connected with anode, and the black one is oncathode, The out-light direction can be seen when the laser tube isignited .Adjust four terminal screws on the supports base to make thelight come out through the hole.
3) The instrument should be kept in dry, draughty and cool place,be sure not to be touched with chemicals or corrosive gases.
4) To increase the service life of the laser tube, it should be ignited atleast for several hours once a week.
Method for replace a laser tube
1. Two hours after cut off the power, open the unit by loose the screws offront (1)and back (2)cover.
2. Push laser tube module (8) from front to back, the module can be drew outoutside shell (2)according to the direction indicated by arrow.
3. ulnconnecte the wire of negative (3) and positive (6) pole by the use of
electric iron.
4. After loose two lock screws (7), you can draw out the old laser tube slowlyand replace a new one, then tighten two lock serews(7).
5. Reconnecte the wire of negative (3) and positive (6) pole to new laser tube.pay attention to the polarity of the tube. The terminal with aluminum tubeis negative pole, the one with a wolfram rod is positive pole.
6. Enclose laser rube module (8) back in outside shell (2), recover front (1)and back(2)cover,then tighten the serews.
7. Iflaser beam can't pass through out light hole (9), loose the nut of out lighthole (9), adjust the hoale's position properly to make laser beam out.
