1. Powering On

• Before powering on, check the laser output aperture for any contaminants or obstructions. Clear away any significant obstructions or contaminants before starting; minor dust can be ignored.
• The power button is located above the charging port (the small black button). Double-click the button to turn the device on; the battery level indicator light at the top will illuminate. To turn it off, simply click the button once.
• You may notice the indicator showing 4 bars of power, or perhaps 2–3 bars; this is because batteries are not fully charged at the factory (new batteries typically have 60–70% charge). They are ready for immediate use, and storing them without a full charge is actually better for battery health and safer for shipping. You can leave the device plugged in; the internal chip will automatically cut off power once fully charged, ensuring safety. 3. Operating Distance

Effective range without a lens: 50–150 cm. Effective range for black flammable objects: 1–1.5 meters. Avoid testing at a distance of 5–10 cm, as smoke may drift onto the lens and contaminate the glass, thereby affecting the laser output. At this stage, you must clean the glass surface using a damp towel or an alcohol wipe. While minor dust inside the glass does not affect performance, significant obscuration by black soot is unacceptable. For long-range use, attach the lens and adjust its extension until the red dot is minimized to achieve proper focus.

The lens has an extension limit; do not pull it out further once the white sealing ring becomes visible. If it is accidentally pulled out too far, simply reinsert it. The device can be used without the lens at an effective range of approximately 1 meter; however, the lens is required for longer distances. To install the lens, simply screw the threaded end onto the matching lens mount at the front of the unit. With the lens installed, the effective range extends to 5–6 meters.
