Advantages and disadvantages of two materials of laser protection board:

Acrylic PMMA Sheet

Advantages: high visible light transmittance, easy to observe with the naked eye, the protection level (optical density) is medium to upper, the conventional maximum size is 1000*1280, and 1000*1200, and the service life is generally 2-3 years.

Disadvantages: No explosion-proof and flame retardant effect, brittle, not resistant to bending, poor bending strength.

Polycarbonate PC Board

Advantages: It is a comprehensive thermoplastic resin with excellent electrical insulation, elongation, dimensional stability and chemical resistance, high strength, heat resistance, and cold resistance, it also has self-extinguishing, Flame retardant, explosion-proof, and other characteristics, and the protection level is high, and the service life is generally more than 5 years.

Disadvantages: Visible light transmittance is relatively general.
