When water mist or smoke is sprayed, due to the reflection of water droplets or smoke particles, and the concentration of light around, the laser light is diffusely reflected, and light enters the human eye, so we can see the laser light. In fact, the laser can also be seen in the air. The distribution of small water droplets in the air is scattered, so the reflection is difficult to find.
