High Power Laser Diodes For Metal Processing From 250W To 25kW

JTBYShield provides industrial-grade high-power diode lasers for material processing from laser source to workpiece. Our company continues to develop fiber-coupled diode laser technology and has more than 20 years of experience. The first generation of traditional solid-state or gas lasers used for metal processing were large, immovable, and inefficient. They were mainly used for metal cutting and welding. Compared with the changes in the electronics industry brought about by transistors in the middle of the last century, today's industrial lasers have gradually shifted to a market dominated by high-power diode lasers, which is also a breakthrough change.

JTBYShield high power lasers enable multi-kilowatt power. In addition, we continue to improve the beam quality of our lasers.

High power diodes

Our fiber diode lasers have powers up to 25 kW and photoelectric conversion rates up to 50%. Lasers within the 4 kW level can be equipped with beam converters with beam quality up to 4mm mrad. Our industrial-grade lasers have long lifespan and low maintenance costs. Our innovative diode-cooling technology makes the machine design compact and flexible, and we can even customize pull-out lasers with a volume of only 19 inches. In addition, custom laser designs can be provided and tested in the laboratory. Our spare parts, such as processing lenses, galvanometers, shutters and monitoring systems, further complete the laser configuration. Our customers also enjoy training and technical service/machine maintenance contracts. Our technical customer service provides you with 24/7 hotline service and provides remote problem diagnosis and analysis.

The characteristic of our lasers is that they directly use diodes as light sources. The advantage of diode lasers is that they convert electricity directly into laser light without the need for an indirect pumping medium. Compared with other lasers, diode lasers are more compact, efficient, flexible and easy to operate. Diode lasers are low maintenance, reliable and long-lasting.

High power lasers offer low maintenance costs
Industrial manufacturing has high requirements on the reliability and processing efficiency of production tools. Even in multi-shift operations and harsh working environments, our products continue to operate without interruption.

The automotive industry often implements three-shift operations, and our diode lasers have proven themselves to be stable and sustainable in processing over the years. Our diode lasers are low maintenance and have a service life of over 30,000 hours in harsh working environments. Taking the fluorescent lamp-pumped Nd:YAG-laser as an example: the fluorescent lamp pump source needs to be replaced every 1,000 hours of operation, which greatly reduces the operating efficiency of the laser and increases service costs.

Fiber-coupled diode lasers have a small footprint
The floor space required for equipment is an important criterion when planning a production line. Compared with other laser products of the same level, a major advantage of the LDF series laser is that it covers an area of less than 1m². Our diode lasers are compact, stable and flexible, which also facilitates on-site service and spare machine replacement. When the laser is under maintenance or encounters a malfunction, the backup machine can be quickly and easily replaced. Therefore, maintenance and repair work does not affect production. Replacing the standby machine takes less than half an hour and eliminates the need to reprogram the laser. Whether it is the customer's own engineer or our after-sales engineer, they can easily handle it.

High Power - Compact - Customized
In line with this concept, JTBYShield can now provide standard models with power up to 25 kW and photoelectric conversion rates up to 50%. Semiconductor lasers with gain fibers have been able to achieve beam quality of 4 mm∙mrad at the 4 kW level.

Diode lasers have a long service life and are easy to maintain. Laserline uses innovative diode stack active cooling technology to create compact, mobile diode lasers that are only the size of a 19-inch chassis. In addition, we conduct experiments and testing in our application laboratories to provide customers with customized laser services. In addition, we can also provide processing mirror groups, galvanometers, light gates and monitoring systems. We can also provide customers with training and customized maintenance services. If the machine fails, our 24/7 customer service hotline and remote diagnosis module can remotely assist customers to solve the problem.

Wide range of applications
The main application areas of high-power semiconductor lasers are traditional industrial applications such as metal material processing, which mainly include welding, brazing, heat treatment, cladding and coating repair. In addition, high-power diode lasers are also used for plastic welding and additive manufacturing (metal 3D printing) or welding of carbon fiber reinforced materials. JTBYShield's main customers are from the automotive industry and the machinery and tool and mold manufacturing industries. In addition, many customers in the aerospace and heavy industry sectors also rely on industrial-grade high-power diode lasers.
